A Bend in the River

The packing was perfect and the painting grows on me each time I look at it so it is fantastic.

Elephant Reflections

"This artwork transports me to a parched lake bed in Saharan wilderness. A herd of wild elephants coated in dry mud progress slowly as if pursing an inner instinct. The heat of the sweltering day is captured in the reflections of the pack. The grazing shadows evoke the feelings of mirage and are almost hypnotic. The beauty of this artwork is the simplicity with which Jonathan has captured the essence of the Saharan desert. The painting is all about movement and life."
